Landmark Year Sees Seven Inaugural Calls at Zadar
From luxury yachts and premium newcomers to some of the cruise industry’s most recognised brands, Zadar Cruise Port is welcoming an unprecedented wave of inaugural calls in 2026, further strengthening its position as one of the Adriatic’s most dynamic cruise destinations.
By the end of June, six maiden visits have taken place or are scheduled, reflecting growing confidence in both the destination and Europe’s Best Cruise Terminal. The season began in May with the inaugural call of Marella Voyager, followed by Mein Schiff 4, Allura from Oceania Cruises, and Ilma from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. In June, the arrival of Explora II, the second ship in the Explora Journeys fleet, marked another important milestone for the port’s luxury cruise segment.
The increasing presence of premium and luxury brands reflects a wider industry shift towards immersive, destination-focused travel—an area where Zadar continues to stand out through its cultural authenticity, natural beauty, and access to the wider Dalmatian region.
Managed by Global Ports Holding, Zadar Cruise Port is recognised for its exceptional service standards, efficient operations, and commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
The season’s momentum will continue with Scarlet Lady‘s inaugural call in July and Ambience‘s maiden visit in November, further confirming Zadar’s growing relevance on the international cruise map.
