Exciting times for Zadar
Zadar Cruise Port has marked another remarkable day as it has welcomed for the first time, four cruise ships simultaneously.
On this occasion, Rebeka V. Pevec, General Manager of Zadar Cruise Port said: “This is one more significant milestone that we have achieved this year. Today’s operation went flawless, all details were carefully planned and organized.”
She continued: “This success is a result of well trained team, very good communication between all stakeholders and close partnership with Port of Zadar Authority, tour operators, port agents and pilots, tourist boards and all local authorities such as Border Police, Customs and Harbor Master. We are all looking forward to welcoming even more ships and further development of Zadar as recognized cruise destination.”
The first ship to arrive in the morning was Regent Seven Seas Voyager, followed by Aidablu, Viking Sea and La Belle de l’Adriatique. There was also additional ship in Zadar, Azamara Pursuit, at downtown port.
County Prefect Bozidar Longin and newly appointed Port of Zadar Authority Director Zeljko Knezevic visited Zadar Cruise Port during this historic day and expressed their utmost satisfaction with operational standards and organization.
Announcements of cruise calls for 2023 show record numbers, which further confirms that Zadar is booming as cruisedestination.
There are some exciting times ahead for Zadar Cruise Port in the years to come.
