A Year of Milestones at Zadar Cruise Port

Zadar Cruise Port is fastest growing Croatian cruise port and since its opening in 2019, it has been continuously recognized for its service excellence, security protocols and highest level of operational standards.

The largest Croatian passenger terminal, purposely built for all sizes of cruise ship turnaround and transit operations, is one of the architectural landmarks of this area and the destination.

The 2022 has been without a doubt a year of milestones and celebration at Zadar Cruise Port.

Here are some of the most memorable events of 2022 season which will permanently stay in the port’s history:
– The largest cruise ship ever to berth in Zadar – MSC Fantasia arrived on 2nd of May, and with her impressive length of 333m and 137,936 GRT, she is the largest cruise ship to ever berth in Zadar

– The most ships to berth at the same time – 3 large ships arrived on 16th of July. Costa Luminosa, MSC Armonia and Marella Explorer 2 simultaneously stayed at Zadar Cruise Port, with total berthing line of 786m and 230,720 GRT

– The biggest number of guests and crew in one day – on 28th of August there was 4,769 passengers and 1,457 crew members visiting the port, marking the day with the most guests and crew in one day this far

– The first turnaround operations – ClubMed 2 on 6th of August was the first ship to have complete turnaround, although MSC Armonia has had smaller embarkations and disembarkations throughout the 2022 season

Zadar Cruise Port started the cruise season in the end of February and it will continue until mid November 2022.
