A Record-Breaking Year of Growth in Zadar
The year 2025 has marked a milestone for Zadar Cruise Port, defined by recordbreaking passenger volumes, strengthened partnerships, and growing recognition as one of the Adriatic’s leading cruise destinations.
Building on the momentum of an outstanding 2024 season, total passenger traffic rose by 22%, while cruise calls increased by 12% compared to the previous year. With the arrival of MSC Armonia in late November, the port officially surpassed 260,000 passengers. This is the highest number of transit passengers in its history.
This landmark season also saw six inaugural calls, as Crystal Symphony, Arcadia, National Geographic Orion, Seven Seas Grandeur, Viking Vesta, and Luminara had their first calls to Zadar Cruise Port. It was particularily special to welcome Viking Vesta and Luminara on their maiden voyages. Each occasion was marked by a traditional plaque exchange ceremony, celebrating the spirit of maritime partnership and reinforcing Zadar’s reputation for exceptional hospitality.
As the 2025 season draws to a close, Zadar Cruise Port continues to consolidate its role as a gateway to the central Adriatic, offering efficient operations, authentic experiences, and a genuine welcome to international guests. Its continued growth reflects not only operational excellence but also the enduring cultural heritage and allure that make Zadar a standout destination in the Mediterranean cruise landscape.
